Do I need IT or cybersecurity experience to enroll in the CyberCore bootcamp?

No. This bootcamp is for beginners. You do not need any prior experience in IT or cybersecurity to enroll in the bootcamp.

Do I need an undergraduate or associate's degree in cybersecurity to enroll in the CyberCore bootcamp?

No. You do not need a college education to enroll in the bootcamp.

Is the CyberCore Bootcamp self-paced or live-online?

The bootcamp can be completed at a self-paced rate. You can attend any live session and meet with instructors to get your questions answered about the module covered that week. You can also meet with the instructors during Office Hours for other curriculum-related questions.

Do I have to attend the live sessions?

No, but we highly encourage you to attend the live sessions to have your questions answered and your doubts cleared.

Are live sessions recorded?

Yes, live sessions are recorded and are available in CyberLAB™ on the next business day.

How much does the bootcamp cost?

$4,000

What are the tuition payment or financing options?

1. Pay full tuition upfront — A $250 discount is applied to tuition if paid in full one week before the program start date.2. Installments — Pay half upfront & half later — 50% of the tuition balance is due one week before the bootcamp start date. Remaining 50% is due in week 6 of the bootcamp.3. Financing — Climb offers monthly installment options. Edly offers a Pay When You Earn income-based repayment (IBR) loan option.

Do you offer scholarships?

Partial scholarships are available for women, U.S. military veterans, their immediate family members, law enforcement officers, and individuals facing economic hardship. Prospective students may discuss scholarships during the bootcamp application process. Scholarship recipients are notified upon acceptance into the bootcamp.

What is the time commitment for the CyberCore bootcamp?

Students are expected to spend a total of 18 hours per week on CyberCore Bootcamp studies.

Do you offer career prep in the CyberCore bootcamp?

Yes. Evolve Academy's Career Advisor will help you with your resume, cover letter, job search strategies, and interviewing skills during the bootcamp. After the bootcamp is complete, the Career Advisor will help you with resume and cover letter customization, job applications, follow-up strategies, mock interviews, and offer negotiations.

What jobs can I apply for after I complete the CyberCore bootcamp?

The CyberCore bootcamp will prepare you for entry-level jobs in cybersecurity and IT.

How do I get started in the CyberCore Bootcamp?

Here's our admissions process:1. Step 1 — Application: Complete the bootcamp application and schedule your online advisor call.2. Step 2 — Advisor call: During the Zoom advisor call, the admissions advisor will discuss your interest in transitioning to a cybersecurity career, provide additional information about the bootcamp, and answer your questions.3. Step 3 — Acceptance: If accepted to the bootcamp, you will receive an electronic acceptance letter and an enrollment agreement, which outlines the class expectations, the class schedule, and the tuition payment schedule.4. Step 5 — Enrollment: Sign the enrollment agreement and pay a $100 deposit to reserve your spot. The deposit is fully refundable if you cancel 2 weeks before the bootcamp start date.5. Step 6 — Complete the free Cybersecurity Fundamentals course: Complete the free prep course, Cybersecurity Fundamentals, before the bootcamp starts.6. Step 7 — Tuition Payment and Financing: If you selected the Financing option in the Enrollment Agreement, complete the loan process before the bootcamp start date. What is the difference between the Cybersecurity Bootcamp and the CyberCore Bootcamp?

The Cybersecurity Bootcamp is a 20-week live-online, instructor-led program with sessions Monday through Friday from 7 pm to 9 pm US CT. The CyberCore Bootcamp is 12 weeks long and self-paced, with live sessions on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 7 pm to 8 pm each week. The CyberCore Bootcamp is designed for learners seeking a self-paced experience with some instructor support, while the Cybersecurity Bootcamp is for students seeking weekly, structured coursework and extensive support.
